Your new role 

• Develop and drive the SAP Master Data strategy in alignment with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory expectations (e.g., GxP, FDA, EMA).
• Act as the global owner of all SAP Master Data processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure high data quality across all master data domains (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Product, Finance).
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure master data enables end-to-end regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Lead the deployment and ongoing enhancement of SAP Master Data Management solutions, including workflows, validation rules, and system integrations.
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of data stewards, analysts, and technical specialists responsible for data lifecycle management and quality.
• Track, analyse, and report on data quality KPIs, initiating corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
• Provide support for audits and regulatory inspections by supplying evidence of data governance practices and compliance controls.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Over 7 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional environments, with experience managing global data governance programs.
• University degree in IT, business, or a related field.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, along with familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and their impact on data governance, would be a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent in English.
