For our client, a manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced and proactive individual to join the team as a EHS Manager. The production facility is located near Leszno.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the local EHS team to ensure high performance and engagement. 
  • Report directly to the Plant Manager.
  • Guarantee adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. 
  • Promote and embed a strong safety culture throughout the organization at every level. 
  • Create, implement, and oversee EHS policies, procedures, and comprehensive training programs. 
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives focused on EHS improvements and sustainability goals. 
  • Carry out risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions. 
  • Work in close partnership with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive proactive EHS practices. 
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.


Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related filed ( Master’s degree preferred)
  • Extensive experience in Health, Safety and Environmental management with a least 5 years in a sector leadership role
  • Experience of implementing standard environmental and health, safety initiatives 
  • Proven experience in risk management, incident investigation, and HSE compliance in a global business environments
  • In – depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices
  • Ability to translate HSE corporate guidance into practical plans and action items to ensure proper deployment across sites with varying maturity levels
  • Experience with 5S/6S
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence at all levels of the organisation
