About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior RTR Manager / RTR Director to take full ownership of the Record to Report function within a growing Global Business Services organization.
This is a high-impact role, crucial to building and shaping RTR structures, driving standardization, and establishing a finance center of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end ownership of the RTR (Record to Report) function within a GBS environment
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing RTR team 
  • Oversee core RTR processes, including:
    • Month-end and year-end closing
    • General Ledger 
    • Fixed Assets
    • Accruals & provisions
    • Intercompany accounting
    • Statutory and management reporting
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
  • Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives
  • Lead or support process migrations and transformations 
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (Finance, Controlling, local markets)
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Define, monitor, and improve KPIs and SLAs
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement 
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in RTR / GL / Accounting, including GBS/SSC environment (mandatory)
  • Proven leadership experience (managing teams of min. 8-10 FTEs)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/US GAAP preferred)
  • Experience in GBS/SSC setup, transformation, or scaling organizations
  • High level of ownership and ability to work independently
  • Strong change management and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment – nice to have
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with ERP systems
