Engineering Manager

Location: Remote (Poland-based candidates preferred)
Contract Duration: 2 years Engagement 
Type: B2B Start Date: ASAP (maximum 2 weeks notice)
Language Requirement: Fluent English

We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Splunk development, Python, and cloud technologies to join a long-term international project. This is a fully remote opportunity with strategic responsibilities and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-quality Splunk Technology Add-Ons (TAs).
  • Lead technical teams and act as a subject matter expert in Splunk and Python.
  • Develop integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using APIs.
  • Configure and administer commercial security solutions (e.g., IDS, NGFW, Identity Management).
  • Work with Linux CLI and shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
  • Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, POD leads, offshore teams, and delivery managers.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop automation for deployment, monitoring, and testing processes.
  • Utilize Design Thinking, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Leverage analytics and test-and-learn approaches to drive hypothesis-based development.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Splunk development and Python.
  • Strong understanding of cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency with Linux command-line and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with SIEM systems and security tools.
  • Experience in leading teams and delivering complex technical solutions.
Nice to Have:
  • DevOps experience and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong background in automation and infrastructure as code.
